New: HelloTime now integrates with HelloBooks — sync clients, hours, invoices and payroll.

One tenancy · One bill · Four pillars

Attendance, Productivity, Payroll & Books — one login.

The only product that runs deskless face-rec attendance and desk productivity tracking and payroll and books on a single tenancy. Truein needs ADP. Hubstaff needs QuickBooks. Keka needs a separate tracker. We don't.

Your HelloBooks login works here too. No credit card. No bundle surcharge.

The four pillars

Four products. One tenancy. Zero seams.

Most teams stitch attendance, productivity, payroll and accounting from four vendors. Every seam costs a CSV, a finance hire or a missed compliance window. HelloTime ships them as one.

Pillar 1

Attendance

Face-recognition attendance for deskless teams — kiosk, mobile selfie or geofence. Truein-grade compliance without a separate vendor. Field-worker expense claims raised in the same app, approved in the same queue.

  • Face-rec kiosk for shop-floor and field crews
  • Geofence auto clock-in / clock-out at job sites
  • Mobile selfie + GPS for travelling staff
  • Buddy-punch and proxy detection built-in
  • App in English, हिन्दी and ગુજરાતી — auto-detected from device
  • Offline-first SQLite queue with idempotency keys — punches still land, once
  • Unified approvals inbox: leave, regularization, expense, shift-swap
  • Expense claims with photo receipts + petty cash — approved expenses become HelloBooks journal entries

Pillar 2

Productivity

Desktop tracker for desk teams. Activity %, app and URL signals, opt-in screenshots — Hubstaff-grade insight, privacy-first defaults.

  • Native Windows, Mac, web and mobile timers
  • Activity levels from keyboard and mouse signals
  • App and URL usage while the timer runs
  • Optional screenshots — frequency you choose, opt-in by user
  • Voice naming on mobile — speak the project, on-device STT pre-fills the timesheet

Pillar 3

Payroll

Attendance + tracked hours flow straight into payroll. India statutory engine (TDS, PF, ESI, PT, LWF) is in private beta — production rollout in flight. Form 24Q and Form 16 are coming with it.

  • Hourly, salaried and contract pay rules with multi-rate support
  • TDS-on-salary engine via Fynamics GSP — beta on request
  • Form 24Q + FVU exports, Form 16 annual issuance — coming soon to production
  • Pay via UPI, Razorpay, bank transfer, PayPal or Wise

Pillar 4

Books

Payroll posts a journal entry the second it runs. P&L, balance sheet, GSTR returns — same login, same tenancy, no reconciliation.

  • Native GST e-invoicing and e-way bills via Fynamics
  • Real-time P&L with labour cost reflected the same day
  • GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-9 returns from your books
  • Bank feeds and AI categorisation across IN, US, UK, AU, AE

How the loop works

Face-rec at 8am. P&L reflects labour cost by 6:01pm.

Same day. Same tenancy. No CSV exports, no overnight batch, no spreadsheet between attendance and books.

  1. 108:00

    Face-rec clock-in

Worker walks up to the kiosk (or opens the mobile app). Face match, location stamp, attendance recorded.

  2. 209:00 – 18:00

    Desktop / field tracking

Desk teams run the tracker — activity %, project, task. Field teams stay clocked-in inside the geofence.

  3. 318:00

    Face-rec clock-out

Same kiosk or selfie out. Hours, breaks and overtime captured automatically — no Friday-afternoon timesheet chase.

  4. 418:00

    Payroll posts the day

Tracked hours feed payroll. Gross-to-net runs against approved hours. India statutory deductions (TDS, PF, ESI) land with the beta rollout — opt-in today.

  5. 518:01

    Books reflect labour cost

Payroll posts a journal entry to HelloBooks. P&L shows today's labour cost in real time. Same tenancy, same login.

Same loop runs for deskless and desk teams. Field crew? Geofence replaces the kiosk. Salaried staff? Tracked hours feed gross-to-net the same way.

What you'd need without HelloTime

Five vendors. Five logins. One reconciliation nightmare.

Every other stack splits this into separate purchases — and somebody has to keep them in sync. That somebody is usually a finance hire and a stack of spreadsheets.

Common questions

Do I need separate logins for HelloTime and HelloBooks?
No. One login, one tenancy, one bill. Single sign-on across the entire Meru Fintech suite — including the HelloMileage companion app.
How does this differ from Truein + ADP + QuickBooks?
Truein gives you face-rec attendance but not productivity, payroll or books. ADP runs payroll but does not see your timesheets. QuickBooks does books but does not file GSTR. HelloTime does all four on one tenancy, with no reconciliation work between them.
Is the desktop tracker mandatory if I only run face-rec attendance?
No. Each pillar is opt-in. Field teams can run face-rec only; desk teams can run productivity only. The integration shows up the moment you enable a second pillar.
Does pricing change if I use all four pillars?
No. HelloTime is per-user-per-month from ₹99 / $1.20. HelloBooks pricing is published separately. There is no bundle surcharge — the integration is the product.
