New: HelloTime now integrates with HelloBooks — sync clients, hours, invoices and payroll.

Compliance coverage

Payroll compliance coverage for India.

Attendance is only worth what payroll can file from it. This page states exactly what HelloTime generates for EPFO, ESIC, the Income Tax Department and GSTN, what has shipped and what has not, and when each return is due.

Statuses below are read from the same registry the pricing matrix reads, so a capability cannot read “live” here and “private beta” there.

What HelloTime generates for you.

Every row carries its real shipping status. Anything not marked live is disclosed wherever it is marketed.

Statutory calendar

When every Indian payroll return is due.

Useful whether or not you run HelloTime. Each row names the authority so you can verify it at source.

Dates above are the statutory baseline as published by each authority. Government notifications and extensions override them, and state-level items vary by your registered work location — confirm against the authority before you file.

The other half

Statutory filing is not information security.

They are separate obligations and we track them separately. Data-protection posture, processing agreements and independent attestations live in the trust centre — under the same rule that nothing is shown as delivered until it is.

FAQ

Compliance questions, answered.

When is the PF ECR due each month?

The PF electronic challan-cum-return and the contribution payment are due by the 15th of the following month. Late deposit attracts interest under section 7Q and damages under section 14B.

When is TDS on salary deposited, and when is Form 24Q filed?

TDS deducted under section 192 is deposited by the 7th of the following month, except the March deduction which is due by 30 April. Form 24Q, the quarterly return, is due 31 July, 31 October, 31 January, and 31 May for the fourth quarter.

Does HelloTime handle Professional Tax and LWF for every state?

Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund are state subjects — the slab, the filing frequency and whether the levy exists at all differ by state, and several states levy neither. HelloTime resolves both per work location rather than applying a single national rule. Confirm the current notification for your state before you file.

Is Indian statutory payroll fully live in HelloTime today?

No. Auto-payroll for TDS, PF, ESI, PT and LWF is in private beta with production rollout in flight, and Form 24Q with FVU export is not yet released. The status of every capability is published on this page and on the pricing matrix from a single registry, so the two cannot disagree.

How is this different from the trust centre?

This page covers statutory payroll compliance — what HelloTime files with EPFO, ESIC, the Income Tax Department and GSTN. The trust centre covers information-security posture: data protection, processing agreements and independent attestations. They are separate obligations and are tracked separately.
